Bishop Julius Hall Centenary

You are invited celebrate our Centenary and reconnect with your contemporaries from Bish days.
Bishop Julius has been home to thousands of students since it began as a small family of 15 students in 1917 to its present day capacity of 169 students. Many enduring friendships were formed at Bishop Julius before Alumni dispersed through New Zealand and the world.
The centenary year will culminate in a weekend of events including a meet and greet, decade photos, tours of the Hall and University, a dinner and dance and combined service at the Transitional Cathedral. Accommodation will be available at the Hall.
Friday 24 November
Registration 4pm – 8pm at BJH
Welcome Social Event 5pm – 8pm at BJH
Drinks and canapés provided
Saturday 25 November
Back to Bish Programme 10am – 12pm
This event includes decade photos, archival displays, morning tea and cake cutting
Lunch 12pm
Finger food lunch
Guided Tours 1pm – 3pm
- Tour of the Hall - guided
- Tour of the University – guided or self guided
- Tour of the City including stop at Cranmer Square – guided on foot or by bus
