The Great Theory of Magnetism “The Boys” – Rock Band
To begin with “The Boys” are an illusion – they are from the 60s and in their 60s and make Mick Jagger look his age. We are not quiet (so turn your hearing aids down and set the pacemaker to 120bpm, don any pair of rose coloured glasses and backdate your watch 40 odd years).
The music is steeped in and the players marinated in the Age of Rock. So be-warned and be ready to rock your socks off.
The Line‐up: John Cummings drives the drums. Pulsing rumble bassist and vocalist is Bruce Tait. JB and Guitarist and vocalist Fuzz aka Warick Fussell.
The band reformed (resuscitated) after a reunion in 2011.
It is great to be able to draw on a wide songlist. We enjoyed a time of prolific, diverse and energetic music. Our aim is to put our own flavour on things. We are a ship moored safely at the dock But a ship is built to be at sea. A band is born to rock (Fuzz getting a poetic pulse of blood to the head).
How did we get the inspiration for the name? It just happened – collectively we were often called the boys and it came to be. Or scientifically it came about via a Theory in Physics ‐ Opposites Attract – magnetism works, theory proved – hell we had a good time – thanks girls ‐ everyone. Let the Good Times roll.
