Learn more about some of the artefacts that have recently been unearthed in Christchurch and further afield. And see highlights of the Canterbury Museum's archaeological collection.
From bones and bricks to shells and ornate smoking pipes, our presenters will reveal what these discoveries tell us about our history.
This FREE indoor event is suitable for all ages. Seats provided. Limited to 70 people. Reservations necessary.
Presented by Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga and Canterbury Museum for New Zealand Archaeology Week.
There is limited duration free parking in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens off Rolleston Avenue and plenty of metered parking nearby. Or save time and catch your local bus.
